Core banking system
The core banking system is nowadays familiar through Chennai making all the banks centralised so that a person can easily transfer his amount from one branch to another branch of the same Bank. After few years India is going to connect all the Banks together so that a person having account in one bank can get connected to all other banks through out the India. This is going to happen by giving a separate code for each bank and the last two digits will be indicating the branches.
